The ideal morning routine finally charted down for you.

Ever wanted to wake up early but ditched on the plan for the lack of having any activity in particular? Let me help you plan the beginning of your day that will help you stay healthy and achieve success. Wake up only an hour before you go to work in the hustle bustle of the town, use this time to pamper yourself, you deserve it.

A mixed morning routine helps you create a rock in your everyday like that feels like a raging river. Whether your work is hectic, or you are moving cities, or changing jobs, or going through a rocky relationship, a morning routine gives you something to hold onto, a sense of normalcy to root yourself.

Here’s a list of activities you should be doing to perform efficaciously throughout the day and for a peaceful night’s sleep:

    1. Start your day with POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS: It is extremely important for you to be grateful for what you have, the mere acknowledgement of what you possess is enough to feel positive. Apart from that, tell yourself what you want to achieve with the belief of having already achieved it. A lot of therapists swear by this method of achieving love, peace, success, fame. These two have shown to reduce the cortisol response (a stress hormone) and self-reported stress and less of an increase in heart rate after being insulted. An affirmation

2. Practice stretching, breathing exercises and meditation for mind and body: even if you are not someone who likes to exercise, stretch only for 10-15 mins. once you are up every morning followed by some relaxing breathing exercises like pranayama, analoma viloma. Once that is done, meditate. Meditation is the only key for mindfulness. Start with 1 min. of meditation and increase it gradually. Have a glass of warm water with some lemon added to it and honey if you want to. Early morning intake of vitamin C and warm water will help you keep your body in shape.Morning Routine

 

3. Eat a healthy breakfast: while in a hurry to reach the office, we often forget to concentrate on the most important meal of the day. Have a balanced combination of proteins, fibre, carbohydrates and whatever that you think is healthy- juices, fruits, sprouts, black coffee, etc. A healthy breakfast will get you going through the day and your body through the years!Morning Routine

4. Make sure to enjoy the nature: mother nature has offered us with so much, do forget to take some time out and appreciate it, it’s good for you. indulge in hobbies like gardening in order to make this easy or take your dog out on a walk; if you are someone who can wake up to witness the sunrise, do it.
