Rajat Tiwari : The underdog Music Director
Hustle until you no longer have to introduce yourself. This is what Rajat Tiwari believes in. He is an underdog from Raipur making it big in Mumbai. He has been into music since childhood. His father, Rakesh Tiwari is a famous folk artist. He has learned Indian classical music since childhood from him. While in class 10th he learned to play guitar. At the age of 18 years he participated in Open youth festivals and has won the district and state level.
His USP lies in playing Indian classical in guitar. He moved to Mumbai in 2011 for film making. He side by side did his graduation from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Khairagarh and also learned guitar in Mumbai to polish his skills. There he got a comedy show and started playing guitar in the band. Then he got to work on Comedy Nights Kapil Sharma and worked for 2 years as a guitarist. He also did all the live shows of Kapil Sharma. Apart from these he got many more shows includingEntertainment Ke Liye Kuch bhi Karega Season 5. He has also worked with many renowned artists. He then realized that he is wasting time and this is not his ultimate goal. He wanted to be a music director and film director. He used to create daily soap’s background and also ad films music for financial stability. He was also a music director of Sonam Kapoor starrer Khoobsurat. He has also played as well as acted in many plays and has worked with many renowned names in the theater background like Nadira Babbar.
He worked on a musical play and played all the music all by himself for continuous 2 hours. He is multi talented personality as he writes poems and his own songs. He is currently doing a film for Phantom Production House directed by Aakarsh Khurana and is also doing a play with Aamir Khan’s son. He also got the Meta – Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards for best screenplay. With so much in his kitty he does not consider himself to be successful.
Success has a different definition for him. He aims to carve a name for him as well as Raipur. A big shout out to you and your grounded personality.
