“A strong will power to do something makes you different from others. Different in a way better than everyone else”, believes Mrs Poornima Daga. A spiritual healer, Reiki practitioner, taro card reader and a social worker in all senses; Poornima is a woman to be looked upto.
Hailing basically from Jalgaon, Maharashtra, Poornima shifted to Raipur after her marriage in 1983. An English Literature and Psychology graduate, she has been spiritual since her childhood. Belonging from a Jain family and being an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva clearly shows her inclination towards spirituality. Taking her spirituality to a next level, Poornima stepped into the world of Reiki in 1999. She claims this decision of hers as a life changing one for her.
Talking about what is Reiki- it is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually “spiritually guided life force energy.” While the definition of Reiki tells just about touch and workable on living beings, Poornima redefines it by explaining it beyond every aspect of the process. She says, “the more you explore, the more you believe”.
With a long list of satisfied patients, and people who’ve tried the process on themselves through Poornima and other practitioners like her, Reiki is surely a revolutionary step in the world of science and medication. A trained practitioner of Reiki and its principles, Poornima has been a gift to mankind, just like so is Reiki. Having healed a lot of people through the process, and changing numerous lives through it, Poornima has a lot of people’s blessings behind her back which keeps her going at this stage of life.
A supportive family which has supported her in all her decisions has kept her going in this field. Charging the medicines by Reiki, healing a defect from the root cause by spiritual processes, working for positivity in people’s lives, preparing angelic medicines, and transforming a lot of lives through her practises, Poornima believes to live a satisfactory life. She also does Reiki for the needy without charging them anything, and heals them. The best part about Reiki is that it doesn’t work for negative motives, and we wish Poornima the best in her life with the welfare she does for people.
