Raipur Is Becoming Educational Hub

Raipur is gear up to become a major education hub

Chhattisgarh is a newly developing state in India, after its foundation year since 2000; it has developed a lot in terms of education. It’s been 19 years and many educational institutions and courses have started from engineering to management and in other streams as well. Raipur is continuously trying to provide the best of education to its students. Many Engineering, management, science stream and arts stream colleges has opened. Rate of Higher Education in Chhattisgarh is quite

When talking about higher education, data of having colleges and universities in Raipur is relatively high than any other city. There are many well renowned Universities are in Chhattisgarh specially government ones, like

  • Ayush & Health Sciences University (2009) especially dedicated to healthcare.
  • Hidayatullah National Law University (2003) for law related courses.
  • Indra Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidhyalay (1987) for agriculture.
  • Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication (2004) dedicated to media courses.
  • Ravi Shankar Shukla University (1964).

There are lots of colleges where different courses are teaching but due to this duration of confusion which comes straight after 12th or 10+2 students often get confused to find a proper course and related colleges or institutions for them. It is almost the story of every student when he/she gets confused in finding suitable institutions to pursue their degree.

Students should first find out their area of interest before taking admissions. It is very necessary to find out the real interest and passion before deciding your future and should look at your 10+2 subjects. According to this information you should start searching the courses related to your subjects and interest. There are many new streams developed within these two decades and every course has its vast range of scope. For Example whoever takes science can choose simple BSc (Bachelor in Science), or specialized subjects, biotechnology, microbiology etc. And those who want to choose in Engineering they also have lots of options almost 75 subjects from different fields. Arts field are also not behind of any subject it also has vast variety of subjects and courses regarding professionalism, from interior design to sculpture, from journalism and media to specialized film making and even from culinary art to home decor courses are available in Raipur. Lots and lots of courses are running in Raipur city and providing the best possible platform to its students to acquire knowledge.

Now Raipur is trying to improve its quality of education and to be employment generator rather than just employee. Professional courses help students to take up their professional career directly. Many scholarships programs runs where financial struggling students can get admission and continue to chase their dreams.

There is little amount of imbalance in the ratio of marks oriented students and knowledge oriented students. Like in the movie 3 Idiots there was a dialogue “Kamyab Banne Ke Liye Nahi Kabil Banne Ke Liye Padho”, but still many students follow the marks rule and after just acquiring good marks they expect to get a good placement with nice salary but without basic and practical knowledge this road is not reaching anywhere. In this issue Dr. B.C. Jain experienced professor and Principal of KITE College shares his views that student should more look forward to practical knowledge rather than just theoretical one. It’s the knowledge and experience in the field which helps to build a better career, he added. He has been teaching since 32 years and has seen many ups and downs in his teaching life so he suggests students to pay attention to their respective classes and focus on their career and goal to achieve success. He believes wisdom of knowledge does pay off and makes a person more intellectual and smart.
