DIY Face Mask For Winter!

Winter is around and we girls would definitely need some backup to maintain beauty all winter along. Enough with the chemical products lets go safe with home products for a very economical and effective winter all long. For the super hydrated skin in winter winds follow these simple winter face packs and sparkle.

So, here are some best home remedies for your winter dry skin!

Yogurt-Honey-Oatmeal Mask

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon oatmeal, finely ground
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
    A few drops of honey

Preparation:

  •  Add the yogurt to the oatmeal in a small bowl and mix together.
  •  Warm a few drops of honey. To do this, warm a spoon under hot water for a minute then add a few drops of honey to the spoon.
  • Stir the honey into the yogurt and oatmeal mixture.
  • Make sure your face is washed & your make up is removed before you apply the mask.
  • Apply the mask gently to your face.
  • Leave it on for 10 minutes.
  • Then rinse it off with several splashes of warm water.
  • Pat your face dry with a warm towel.

Coffee Face Mask

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee (or coffee ground)
    1/2-1 tablespoon milk ( 2% or whole milk works wonderfully. Raw milk is even better! )

Preparation:

  • Mix and make a spreadable paste and apply it on cleansed face.
  • If you are using coffee grounds then let the mixture sit for 3-5 minutes.
  • Gently massage the coffee face mask onto face and let dry for 15-20 minutes.
  • Then rinse it off with cold water while massaging gently for 1-2 minutes to exfoliate any dead skin cells from the face.
  • Repeat it for 2-3 times a week.
  • The mixture of coffee and milk will leave your skin clear from dirt and dead skin cells and makes skin soft and smooth.
  • It will also calm your skin’s redness and reduce inflammation of the skin.

Note: you can apply it as an eye mask for puffy eyes. It can help you to reduce inflammation of the skin.

Banana Yogurt Face Mask

Ingredients:

  • Half a Banana
  • 1/4 cup Yogurt
  • One Tablespoon Honey

Preparation:

  • Mash half a banana to ensure there are no chunks.
  • Add one tablespoon yogurt and one tablespoon honey to form a smooth mixture.
  • Apply this face mask for 20 minutes and wash off.
  • This mask can get a little messy in the beginning so keep a tissue handy!

Egg Honey Face Mask

Ingredients:

  • One Egg
  • One Tablespoon Honey

Preparation:

  • Crack open an egg and separate the yolk from the white.
  • Add one tablespoon honey to the egg yolk and mix well.
  • Apply on the face for 20 minutes and wash off.

Milk Honey Face Mask

  • One Tablespoon Milk Powder
  • One Tablespoon Honey

Preparation:

  • Take one tablespoon of milk powder and add water to make a thick paste.
  • Now add one tablespoon honey and mix well.
  • Apply this mask for 20 minutes before washing off.

Rose Petals Face Pack

  • 1/4 cup rose petals
  • 1/4 cup oats

Preparation:

  • Crush the rose petals gently and add oats with them.
  • To get a paste-like consistency to add some water.
  • Apply it on your skin, let it dry and rinse it off.

Rice Flour Pack

  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoon honey

Preparation:

  • Mix a tablespoon of rice, a tablespoon of oatmeal and two tablespoons of honey.
  • Apply the blend on your skin and wait for around 20 minutes
  • Wash it off with water.

Potato + Yogurt

  • ½ grated potato
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt

Preparation:

  • Mix the two ingredients and apply the pack on your face.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes.
  • Let it dry for about 15 minutes and then wash it off.

Aloe vera + Almond oil/Sesame oil

  • Aloe vera
  • Almond oil/Sesame oil

Preparation:

  • All you need to do is take about 8-10 drops of almond oil or sesame oil and one teaspoon of aloe vera gel and blend them between your palms.
  • Now apply and rub the mixture on your face in circular motions for at least 15 minutes and leave it overnight.
  • Wash your face the next day and you will find your face extremely soft and lively.

Milk cream and honey

  • Milk cream or malai
  • Honey

Preparation:

  • All you need to do is to take a tablespoon each of milk cream and honey in a bowl and mix them well.
