The 37-year-old scion of the Nandamuri family is the first in the third generation of the family to contest elections. Nandamuri’s father late Nandamuri Harikrishna, who was killed in a road accident in August this year, was a Rajya Sabha member, a minister in the state cabinet and also a TDP politburo member. Her uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna, a senior actor in the Telugu film industry, is also an MLA from Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur. Suhasini’s entry into the poll battle, a strategic move by TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu just four days before the closure of nomination process in Telangana, has now upped the stakes.
India Gives 9-Point Plan At G20 To Deal With Fugitive Economic Offenders
India presented a nine-point agenda to G20 member nations calling for strong and active cooperation among them to comprehensively deal with fugitive economic offenders.

Come January, woes of waitlisted Indian Railways passengers will end! From next year onwards, even if a railway ticket is canceled after the train has started from its origin-destination, the information will be directly sent to the TTE. This would allow vacant berths or seats to be immediately given to the waitlisted passengers on the subsequent stations. The decision has been made by Piyush Goyal-led Railway Ministry in a bid to enhance passenger-friendly amenities and services. The move has already been used as a pilot project in some Shatabdi Express and Rajdhani Express trains.
ISRO successfully launches HySIS satellite aboard PSLV-C43
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on November 29, 2018, successfully launched a hyperspectral imaging satellite (HySIS), an earth observation satellite along with 30 foreign commercial satellites from Sriharikota launch center in Andhra Pradesh. HySIS is an earth observation satellite developed by ISRO. It is the primary satellite of the PSLV-C43 mission. The mass of the satellite is about 380 kg. The primary goal of the satellite would be to study the earth’s surface in visible, near infrared and shortwave infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The foreign satellites launched along with HySIS include 1 Micro and 29 Nanosatellites from 8 different countries.
Health Ministry launches modern Information Platform to monitor public health surveillance
The Union Health Ministry launched the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) segment of the Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP) in seven states. The path-breaking initiative will provide near-real-time data to policymakers for detecting outbreaks, reducing the morbidity and mortality and lessening disease burden in the populations and better health systems. The first one-of-its-kind initiative by India, IHIP uses the latest technologies and digital health initiatives. For effective implementation of the platform, 32000 people at the block level, 13000 at the district level and 900 at the state level have been trained.
10 years of 26 November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks
November 26 marks the tenth anniversary on Monday of the Mumbai terror attacks that left 166 people dead and hundreds more injured. On 26 November 2008 Islamist militants from Pakistan unleashed a wave of violence across India’s financial capital that lasted three days and played out on TV news channels around the world. The ten attackers — who were armed with AK-47 assault rifles and hand grenades — belonged to the Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

As per an announcement flashing on the homepage, ‘CAT 2018 will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018.
