Pragati Rao was born & brought up in Bilaspur. She did her initial schooling from St. Joseph Convent School and High School from Saraswati Shishu mandir Bilaspur. Soon after her graduation she started to gain attraction towards the entertainment industry and started her career as a model. She is a famous actress from the Chhattisgarhi Film industry.

She is very active in the Film industry.
Her career in modelling started in 2013 and in 2014 she won Miss Bilaspur. Soon after Miss Bilaspur she participated in Mr. & Miss. Chhattisgarh and beating all the chaos she successfully earned the trophy and crown of Miss Chhattisgarh 2015. This is where her acting career started and she got an offer to work in a Chhattisgarhi movie. Pragati Rao was also a finalist in Adiva Miss India 2015. Most of the ramps she walked became the showstopper and she never looked back.
She is known as a very popular Indian actress and has worked in many Chhollywood movies. Her latest releases are Sasural, Love Diwana and 3 Than Bhokwa.
