On this International Literacy Day the best gesture to show your gratitude towards all the education you have got till date is to show to the world that you care about ‘literacy’. Need to Educate (NTE) initiative taken by SOWO members, where more than 3000 students participated from around 20 Government Schools, and it was conducted with an aim to make the students understand the importance of education. The event was organize for the students where in an Essay competition was conducted.
The topic “Mere Jeevan ke Aadarsh” , “My Living Idol” was given on spot. The NTE project is initiated by Neha Goyal and Ekta Goyal. All the members participated enthusiastically in the event. Members are divided into groups amongst the list of schools to make sure that maximum number of students are benefitted from this initiative. SOWO members make an appeal to the citizens of Raipur to come forward and inform them about the people who need support; be it monetary or educational; and team SOWO would try their best to help them in the best way they can.
Team SOWO wishes to help the less fortunate so that they could have a bright future as well. SOWO wishes to bring in equal opportunities for everyone. As a team, SOWO aims at overall development of a child.
This event was conducted on 7th September 2017 at Maharana Pratap School, Sadar Bazar Raipur.
