Gyan Gudi was established under the guidance of Bastar Collector Vijay Dayaram to provide free coaching to the children of poor farmers in Naxal-affected areas. The initiative is part of a broader effort to uplift marginalized communities and offer educational opportunities that were previously inaccessible. The coaching centre caters to students from various districts, including Matenar, Dantewada, Sukma, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, and Bijapur.

The success of the first batch is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and the faculty at Gyan Gudi. The initiative has been supported by several key figures, including Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, MLA, Commissioner, and other public representatives who inaugurated the Gyangudi Daya Complex on January 24, 2024. The collective efforts of these leaders, along with in-charge Alexander Cherian, Srinivas Rao, Manish Srivastava, Sanjeev Vishwas, and Devesh Panigrahi, have been instrumental in this achievement.

On Friday, the Bastar Collector, along with SP Bastar Shalabh Sinha and CEO of District Panchayat Prakash Surve, congratulated the students and the coaching staff. The students expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister, MLA, Collector, and Commissioner for their unwavering support and for making their dreams of becoming doctors a reality.

The success of Gyan Gudi’s first batch is a beacon of hope for many more students in the region. It demonstrates that with proper guidance and support, even those from the most challenging backgrounds can achieve great heights. The initiative aims to continue providing free coaching, ensuring that more students can follow in the footsteps of these 64 achievers and reach higher positions in the future.
