DHEERAJ KATARA- a wildlife photographer.

Born and bought up in Agra, he has done his graduation and post-graduation in Biotechnology though he has an interest in photography since childhood.

Since childhood, he is doing Wildlife photography but at the time, he didn’t have proper gadgets. It was just a hobby until he got featured in a blog. After that, he bought DSLR for photography.

He practices bio-tech along with photography. He says that people ask for qualification rather than the passion you have. And that is the reason he did biotechnology and practices it professionally.

His genre of interest is in wildlife and travel photography but also do fashion photography. He likes travelling a lot and has travelled about half of India. His favourite place in Chhattisgrah is Chitrakoot and other destinations which are majorly unexplored in the state.

He shared his best moment of life when he was in the CG-MH border, at Bijapur, he found out that there is an Aashram that is accessible by crossing a river. In that Aashram, there is a mini zoo with many wild animals like leopard, hyena, etc. Also, there were hospitals and schools within that Aashram.

His inspiration is his Sir from Agra of around 70 years of age. He describes him as a very positive person with even positive energy. He also is a wildlife photographer and has achieved many awards. He also knows many languages.

The only thing he misses in his life is that he hasn’t achieved much in wildlife and travel photography, and want to do something in the future. He is not interested in travelling the world until he has seen every part of India.
