C.Sanchal-Unleashing Creativity

Meet Sanchal:

Born and brought up in the industrial area of Korba, Sanchal was amongst the founder students of DPS branch there. Her basic studies included good art education from school level itself. She considers herself a prodigy in the field of arts and crafts.

Initially, she used to do it as a hobby; creating things for her relatives and friends. Her journey officially started when her sister in law gifted her the website and brand name “Creative Sanchal” in the year 2012 as her birthday gift. When she had her ups and downs going in her personal life, creativity always acted as a source of meditation for her, art was her escape. That’s when she came with the tagline of her brand, “creativity heals the worst broken souls, too”.

In 2012, she moved to Raipur and joined DPS Raipur as an art teacher. While teaching, she realised that she is meant for creating things on her own, and not someone who’s meant to teach within syllabus and boundaries. She feels one excels exceptionally in their passion if they teach in that field, and she’s grateful to each of her students for adding a bit of level to every creation of hers.

She quit her job last year and has been taking workshops from all around the world and brushing up on her skills. Sanchal has even taken training from world clay masters, Yenji Clay Crafts from Malaysia. Just recently, she opened up her own studio and craft library which is one of it’s kind in Chhattisgarh. She is now focussing on making replicas of people, 3D clay portraits, paintings and miniature statues. More power to you!
