Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 7th July gifted schemes worth Rs 7,600 crore to Chhattisgarh. He inaugurated, laid the foundation stone, and inaugurated 10 projects in the program organized at Science College Ground, Raipur. This includes highway projects alone worth Rs 6,400 crore. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister TS Singh Deo, and Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya were also present in the program.
The Prime Minister stated that it’s a very crucial day in the journey of the development of Chhattisgarh. Today, to increase the facilities for the people of Chhattisgarh projects worth more than 7 thousand crores have been gifted. With these projects, a new journey of convenience and development will begin in tribal areas, where the infrastructure remained weak, and development also reaches late. In the last 9 years, the Government of India has laid a network of roads to the tribal areas.
PM Modi laid the foundation stone of 5 National Highway projects in Chhattisgarh. He also, laid the foundation stone of the Jabalpur-Jagdalpur National Highway projects. Laid the foundation of 6 lanes of the Raipur-Vishakhapatnam corridor. Distributed Ayushman cards under the Ayushman Bharat project. Along with the launch of other schemes including road, and petroleum, the Prime Minister flagged off the first train from Antagarh railway station. Due to this train, now Antagarh will be easily accessible to other parts of the state. After this, the Prime Minister provided direct support to the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana who arrived here from diverse parts of the state.
On the other hand, CM Bhupesh Baghel thanked the Prime Minister from the stage during the program for giving a big gift to Chhattisgarh. He said that Chhattisgarh is continuously moving fast in the direction of development. Because we are a developing state, there will always be an expectation from the central government and PM Modi to deliver the maximum help.
