In today’s time, where all are busy in their life, very few think of others. But serving the needy section of society is praiseworthy. There are many NGOs and communities that are working toward the betterment of society and helping the weaker section as well.

Today we are here to tell you about an NGO that is really contributing to society through its several projects, workshops, and camps. We are talking about ‘ABHASH’, an NGO registered under Chhattisgarh Society Registration Act 1973 on 27 May 2015. Abhash is continuously working for the welfare of our society in the whole state. They are working with a vision of transforming our Country by delivering the right opportunities to our society, where kids should get their education, youth should have jobs, and of course, elders should have a life of dignity & independence. During the lockdown, in association with the “FEEDING INDIA” program run by Zomato, Abhash took a small initiative to distribute personal hygiene products to the needy with the aim of promoting overall hygiene to prevent the spread of the corona pandemic as well as to promote personal hygiene. Under this program, cleanliness kits were distributed by Abhas Social Organization in Government Nari Niketan, Shankar Nagar Raipur, and Government Girls Home, Raipur run by the Women and Child Development Department.

Recently they conducted a 3 days cake workshop at Girls Reform Home, Khamhardih. Members of an NGO taught cake baking to kids available there. Likewise, they conducted many praiseworthy events such as ‘Shaala Pravesh Utsav’, ‘Blood Donation Camp’, ‘Eye Checkup Camp’, ‘Mega Health Camp’, ‘Environment Awareness Program’, ‘Health Awareness Camp’,  ‘Footwear Distribution’, ‘Awaking the Youth’, ‘Women’s Leadership Program’, ‘Skill Development program’ and many more.
