Reincarnating Raipur
The Combined Annual Training Camp of the National Cadet Corps is being organized at Delhi Public School under the direction of Commanding Officer Colonel RK Kaushik. In this NCC camp, a total of 600 NCC cadets from Rajnandgaon, KCG, MMC, Kabirdham, and other districts will be given training in the maintenance and shooting of weapons. NCC cadets receiving shooting training here will be selected for the All India Shooting Competition ahead.
NCC officer Sunil Bhagwat told that the joint annual training camp of the 38th Chhattisgarh Battalion National Cadet Corps will run from May 19 to May 28 at NCC Camp Delhi Public School. The camp also includes NCC cadets from across the state whose cadets from Chhattisgarh will be selected in the Inter Directorate Sports Shooting Championship for All India Shooting Competition 2023. NCC cadets to be selected from here will be given special training.
Preparations had already been completed regarding the NCC camp in Delhi Public School. Here, apart from accommodation and food for NCC cadets, temporary grounds have been prepared for training cadets and various sports competitions. All activities will happen in the morning.
In the NCC camp, along with training on military subjects like drill, map reading, field craft, battle craft, and weapon training, there will also be various sports competitions among NCC cadets. Including cultural programs in the evening in which cadets will perform in sports and arts. Cadets will be taught the lesson of unity and discipline in the camp.
