Reincarnating Raipur
Kids are always famous for their mischief. But the confidence and glamor of the kids might not have been seen before. They just rocked the floor like a professional. People were stunned to see the talent of the kids at the event. We are talking about the Kid’s fashion show – “Chhattisgarh Little Icon”, held at Ambuja Mall, Vidhan Sabha Road, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
A total of 55 kids participated in the event. All the little kids showed their fashion sense in the ramp walk. Especially little kids below 5 yrs won everyone’s heart. Some showed their hands, some waved their hands in the air, and some bowed down with folded hands & delivered their greeting. Seeing the innocent kids walking, everyone cheered them with clapping hands.
The fashion show began with kids in the age group of 0-5 years. Gradually they walked the ramp, one by one in their costumes with innocence on their face. Some kids were embarrassed, so their parents became supportive and went along with them. After the kids were done, their mothers also took a walk with their kids. During the event, a wonderful bond between mother and child was seen. After this, kids above 5 yrs & 10 yrs walked the floor. Children walked in Western dresses with gowns, short dresses, one piece, and with designer salwar.
After the ramp walk, the judges asked questions, to which the kids answered nicely. They were asked about their hobbies, sports, favorite subjects, favorite actors, and family members. Riana Agarwal in the 0-5 years age group, Ashi Badole in the 5-10 years age group, and Aadya Verma in the 10-15 years category were crowned Chhattisgarh Little Icon. Advaita Baksi, Akshar Gupta, and Amitabh Srivastava finished second.
More than four hundred children from different cities across the state including Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, and Bilaspur participated. The audition round took place on the 11th and 12th of April of 2023 for the event, in which the best-performing children were selected for the final round.
Organizer Saurabh said that a total of 55 children were selected for the final round in the categories of 0-5 yrs, 5-10 yrs, and 10-15 yrs. Grooming training was given to all the kids along with their parents before the finals. The fashion show was judged by renowned fashion designer Ruchi Verma and photographer Jeet Muhlani. All the participating kids were given attractive gifts.
