RTO has made a new system to make transport services transparent. Now the information about the RC and license being printed will also be sent directly to the vehicle owners on their WhatsApp. Under the new system, the RC license number, along with the tracking number, and name of the applicant will be received through WhatsApp, sitting at home.

This new facility has been added to the ‘Tunhar Sarkar, Tunhar Dwar’ scheme by the Transport Department in the state under the guidance of Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar. From June 2021 till now, 19 lakh 28 thousand 916 smart card-based registration certificates and driving licenses have been sent to the applicants’ homes. These include 13 lakh 14 thousand 768 smart card-based registration certificates and 6 lakh 14 thousand 148 driving licenses.

Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar constantly keeps his eyes on the smooth functioning of ‘Tunhar Sarkar, Tunhar Dwar’. The ‘Tunhar Sarkar, Tunhar Dwar’ scheme operated by the Transport Department is an essential scheme for the comfort of the people. In this, 22 transport-related services are being provided to the people by delivering them to their doorstep.

Transport Commissioner Dipanshu Kabra said that now along with SMS, messages have also been started on WhatsApp. Earlier only concise information was provided through SMS, which only contained the RC license number along with the tracking number, without the applicant’s name. Now most people have started using WhatsApp, so RTO will now WhatsApp the complete details on the applicant’s number.

Applicants can sit at home and download RC-License online through the website. If RC is not reached on time, i.e. within a week through speed post, then the applicant can complain by calling the helpline number +91-7580808030 issued by the department.
