‘Yuva Sangam’; A Youth Exchange Program Started at NIT Raipur

The Indian Government’s incomparable program ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, ‘Yuva Sangam’ was inaugurated at the National Institute of Technology Raipur by showing a symbolic green flag of the program today.

The Indian Government’s incomparable program ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, ‘Yuva Sangam’ was inaugurated at the National Institute of Technology Raipur by showing a symbolic green flag of the program today. ‘Yuva Sangam’ mainly focuses on organizing exposure tours of students studying in higher educational institutions and youth of different states of the country. 

The program will provide a comprehensive experience of many aspects of life, development sites, achievements, and youth engagement in the host state. During their visit, the youth will get a multi-faceted experience under five broad areas – Tourism, Traditions, Traditions, Progress, and Interconnected Technology. Students will represent Chhattisgarh and they will get an opportunity to know many aspects of life, development works, attractive places, and their achievements from this visit to the state of Nagaland. During the stay, students will get exposure to see the culture and traditions of Nagaland from multiple perspectives, in line with the 5Ps designed for Yuva Sangam and the students will visit Kisama Heritage & Juleke Village, Champo Museum, Sovima, Chumukedima, and Nagaland Handloom. Their itinerary includes a visit to the local markets of Nagaland to learn about the rich culture and tradition of Dimapur. Students will also have the opportunity to witness the traditional method of cooking vegetables in a local home in Chumukedima village. In addition, they will participate in an interactive discussion about the culture and traditions of Nagaland and Chhattisgarh.

‘Yuva Sangam’, a youth exchange program under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, organized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, aims to strengthen people-to-people contacts, especially among youth from different states, and expose them to India’s culture and values. It aims to provide opportunities to the youth who not only have immense talent, global knowledge, and a spirit of creativity and innovation but also value the cultural values ​​that reflect the humanitarian philosophy of the country.
