In Chhattisgarh state, on June 01, 12 lakhs 38 thousand 116 people created a new world record by taking a pledge to conserve the environment, under the Mission Life program by the Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board.

In Chhattisgarh state, on June 01, 12 lakhs 38 thousand 116 people created a new world record by taking a pledge to conserve the environment, under the Mission Life program by the Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board.

This was an innovative initiative of the Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board, EIACP, to bring awareness through public participation in the field of environmental protection. In a single day, the oath aimed to bring change in their daily life for environmental protection. Chhattisgarh Government appealed to the citizens to participate in this campaign of the Environment Protection Board.

Every section in the state actively participated in the campaign of the Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board. More than 12 lakh 38 thousand 116 people registered their names in the India Star Book of Records and World Record Book by taking oath in the entire state.

Housing and Environment Minister of Chhattisgarh Mohammad Akbar and Chairman of Chhattisgarh Environment Protection Board Subrata Sahu have congratulated the officers and employees of the board while thanking the people of the state. Board member secretary R.P. Tiwari thanked all those involved in this public participation.
