‘Raipur Judo Championship 2023’ – Girls Won 7 Medals Including Gold

In the 23rd State Level Cadet Judo Championship, the girl players of Raipur won 7 medals including 1 gold, while performing brilliantly at the championship. Manjot Kaur of Raipur earned a gold medal in this competition, which was organized at Bhatapara.

Along with winning the gold medal, Manjot has also confirmed his position in the Judo team of Chhattisgarh. Raipur girls have won medals in the state competition by performing well under the guidance of coaches Shweta Yadav, Suraj Verma, Rekha, Kartik Swami, and Rahul Sharma. Based on this competition, a 15-member Judo team from Chhattisgarh was also created, which will take part in the national competition to be held in Delhi from July 5 to July 10.

Nowadays Chhattisgarh is creating more and more opportunities for our athletes and sports persons so that they can develop their skills and represent Chhattisgarh at the National, International, and Global levels as well. Girls are being appreciated for their brilliant performance at the ‘Raipur Judo Championship 2023’.

The judo team of Chhattisgarh comprises boys – Prashant Roy, Varun Kumar Lahare, Yogesh Sori, Zeeshan Hussain, P. Rajneesh Rao, Ahuban Telam, Mohd. Ayan and Girls such as – Ruchi Nirmalkar, Purnima Kumari, Ranjita Kawasi, Akanksha Jaiswal, Sadhna Jaiswal, Vibha Dewangan, Nandini Singh and Manjot Kaur.
