Reincarnating Raipur
Born and brought up in Raipur, Manan Begani completed his high school from NH Goel, Raipur. He was ranked 3rd highest in the city! To pursue BMS, he moved to Mumbai for college.
He was working three different jobs while he was studying. Those were in IoT, Fashion and digital media.
He worked for celebrities like Wendell Rodrigues, Masaba Gupta, Neha Kakkar, Arjun Kanungo, Bilal Saeed and many other big names.
After shifting back to Raipur, he worked on an IoT startup in the Raipur with the name BUYPUR which he later sold to a firm in Bangalore.
He always wanted to create a brand that people show off as people run behind a unique selling proposition. While we idolize what we call UBP “a unique brag-worthy proposition” This is where the idea of KALP was born. To create a new experience in an existing market was his goal.
And branding it was his mission. While working with startups in Mumbai, he learned a lot of backend and frontend strategies for building a solid image for your product.
He says that maintaining a relationship with the customers, and engaging with them, was the key to KALP. They plan to expand into more and more health categories with the best quality and price.
He has an endless list of hobbies and has always been a sucker to try new things and learn new skills. While he was working with a professor in Mithibai college, on a thesis, he quoted this “grow from strength to strength”, and that is one of the simplest yet the most effective ones he ever heard!
