Nikita, a native of Raipur, right from her childhood was well aware of her temper in dancing & acting and had a hankering for being a dancer & choreographer that prompted her to indulge herself in dance & choreography during her school days as a student of Sant Dnyaneshwar Higher Secondary School. Right after her stint in the school she joined a dance class as a trainer for aerobics & zumba. This was the time when she started pursuing her graduation in commerce from Mats University.
However her love for dance took her to Bengaluru, where she learnt Kathak & Salsa from Lourd Vijay’s Dance Studio. But her return from the Silicon Valley of the country was devastating despite having plans to open a dance class in Raipur. It was her father’s demise that left her tormented and shattered her dreams.
Financial independence was the next on her way that made her audition for an RJ at Radio Mirchi. Fortunately her very first try got her the recognition as RJ Nikki when she was still under graduation. RJ Nikki making Raipurians swoon over her voice continued her graduation in the sideline. With the completion of her graduation she quit the job for she wanted to pursue MBA as radio jockeying was not that paying to support her further study plans.
After quitting the job as an RJ she had numerous offers for anchoring which she took head-on along with her MBA.
Nikita as an emcee has hosted events for major brands to the likes of LG, Reliance, Audi, Honda & so on. Her celebrity engagement too has a long list that incorporates Hrithik Roshan, Ayushmann Khurrana, the cast of Tarak mehta ka ooltah chashmah and many more. She has also been the state coordinator for volunteer run SPIC MACAY mobilising youth to foster Indian art, craft and cultural heritage.
