The Raipur Automobiles Dealers Association (RADA) hosted the grand Auto Expo 2023, the largest automobile sector event in Central India, from the 24th to the 27th of March at the Science College Ground. The event featured almost all major automobile companies, displaying two-wheelers, cars, commercial vehicles, tractors, automobile equipment, and used cars, all under one roof.
The President of RADA, Vivek Garg, Vice President Ravindra Bhasin, Secretary Kailash Khemani, and Treasurer Vivek Agarwal, shared their excitement during a joint press conference, indicating that the Auto Expo 2023 would feature vehicles equipped with futuristic technology, providing an opportunity to see and buy your favourite vehicles.
Around 100 automobile brands, including two-wheelers like Hero, Honda, Suzuki, TVS, Bajaj, Yamaha, Royal Enfield, Vespa, KTM, and Jawa, participated in the event. Four-wheelers such as Maruti Suzuki, BMW, Hyundai, Skoda, MG, Volkswagen, Renault, Jeep, Fiat, Toyota, Audi, Nissan, Citroën, Nesta, Arena, Jaguar, Honda, and Tata Motors were also present. The event also featured tractors such as John Deere, Swaraj, and TAFE. Commercial vehicles like GK Electric, SML Issue, Mayuri, Mahindra, Eicher, Ashok Leyland, Bull, Kinetic Green, Tata Motors, and Case Construction also participated. True Value, Tata Motors Assured, Promise, X Mart First Choice displayed used vehicles.
The event was inaugurated with the launch of the new e-C3, an all-electric vehicle, making it the first day’s special attraction. Attendees were also provided with the facility of making licenses from the RTO.
During the event, dealers offered discounts and exclusive offers on the spot booking, while spot finance facilities were also available. Around 200 stalls from vehicle companies, dealers, and spare parts associations participated in all four segments, including tire tube battery lubricants parts companies.
The event showcased renowned bands, dance groups, and celebrities who presented scintillating shows every evening. The Raipur Automobiles Dealers Association (RADA) members, including President Vivek Garg, Vice President Ravindra Bhasin, Secretary Kailash Khemani, and Treasurer Vivek Agarwal, not only sold vehicles but also fulfilled their social responsibilities from time to time. RADA conducted various events such as road safety week, public awareness campaigns on the necessity of helmets, environment conservation, blood donation, training camp, health camp for workshop workers, etc. They continued to play their part even during the COVID period with the administration.
Auto Expo 2023 had participation from all, including Associate Partner – Raipur Motor Merchant Association, Gold Sponsor – IWW, Silver Sponsor – Chola, IFFCO-Tokyo, SBI, Bronze Sponsor – Small Finance Bank, and Deshkar as an external partner. The event was a grand success, and it left the attendees amazed with its grandeur and display of the latest technologies in the automobile sector.
