Priyanka Sahu, a 14-year-old girl from Raipur, has made the country proud by clinching the gold medal in the national powerlifting championship sub-junior category. The championship was held in the twin city of Bhilai from Feb 18 to Feb 22.

Priyanka lifted an impressive 150 kg weight to bag the gold medal, according to her coach Manik Tamrakar. Priyanka is a student in class 9th in a government high school and has been training hard for this championship for several months.

Priyanka’s achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication. She has shown that age is just a number and that one can achieve great heights with determination. Her success is an inspiration to young girls across the country, who can now look up to her as a role model.

Priyanka’s victory in the national powerlifting championship is a proud moment for her family, her coach, her school, and her state. It is also a proud moment for the entire country. We congratulate Priyanka on her impressive feat and wish her all the best in her future endeavours. We hope that she continues to make the country proud with her achievements in the field of powerlifting.
