Saniya Agarwal, founder of fastest growing fashion accessories brand, “Sataara” (https://www.sataara.com/) is here with us today to share her journey and experiences.
She is a mother of two kids, a 14 years old daughter and a 5 years old son. Saniya was born in Rajasthan, did her schooling from Jaipur and her MBA from Delhi. Currently married in Raipur and working for her brand “Sataara” for seven and half years now.
“@sataara19” is an Indian Luxury Accessories Company, that has worked for several fashion shows & celebrities such as Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu for her Miss Universe Contest. She has also designed jewelry for celebrities like Shweta Tiwari, Hina Khan, Divya Agrawal for ‘Big Boss’ show, Archana Puran Singh for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, Jasmin Bhasin, Divita Rai, Tina Dutta, Nauheed khan and a lot more. “Sataara” also has tie-ups with various beauty pageant organizations that represent India at the global level.
In an interview with “Reincarnating Raipur”, when asked about how she manages her personal and professional life both, she said, “Initially it was little difficult when kids were young, but now I am able to manage everything as with time I have learnt to maintain a balance between work and family and with the kind of support I get from my family, things have become all the more easier.
Do you face challenges even now, after being in the business for so long? To which she replied,
As we are in the fashion industry, the biggest challenge is the ever-changing fashion. We always aim to create pieces that are timeless and can be worn with multiple outfits. Coming up with such designs demands lots of efforts, and a skilled team of professionals which is also a challenge at times. Over the years we surmounted the challenges which then became our USP and helped us in reaching where we are today.
Saniya has received the ‘Business Rankers Women Achievers Award 2021’ for her brand Sataara. Her brand has also been recognized by ‘Economic Times’ for the category of best organization for women. She is also the recipient of ‘The Bharat Book of World Records 2022’ to support the project Balika Vidya (an educational initiative for rural girl children).
We requested her to give a message to aspiring entrepreneurs, she said, “Nothing is impossible in this world. Understanding your uniqueness helps you in attaining your goals. You should always believe in you and your ideas. There is absolutely no short cut to success. You have to work harder and smarter to be in the industry.
She also says “The more you feed your mind with positive thoughts, the more you attract great things in your life”.
