ANAND MELA 2.0 BY RAIPUR CAPITAL ROUND TABLE 241

Raipur Capital Round Table 241, a group of 24 like-minded and highly motivated young couples was established in the year 2013 to make quality education available to less privileged children. Year after year RCRT 241 has organized fundraiser events to raise awareness & funds for this cause. We introduced “the kite festival” to Raipur, Groove- was of its kind award-winning food festival, Anand Mela 1.0 received the Platinum Award for the best fundraiser in Area 3 of tabling.

A family fun evening has always been our focus and towards this goal RCRT, 241 organized Anand Mela 2.0 – bigger, better, best on 15th December 2019 at Gaurav Garden. The proceeds from this event will be used to construct a school at Kumhari and further develop the Tildadih Primary School because we believe education is empowerment. A crowd of around 7000 people enjoyed games, food, activities, and shopping. People played a lucky hour and Tambola with full excitement and won prizes worth Rs 250000. The prizes were distributed by the title sponsors of the event Sri Ram jewelers. Lucky hour, bachpan ki Daud, matki phod, potluck, monster hop, stories by JAM, magic & puppet show, movies, Turkish ice cream. We especially enjoyed it all. Delicious food and fantastic music by the live band from Indore created the perfect ambiance for a family night out.

chairman Bajrang Goel said he is touched by the tremendous response and love from the people. We cannot thank you, people, enough for believing in RCRT 241’s vision. You gave us your Sunday and we are glad that we made every minute worth it. We are overwhelmed by your affection!! He thanked all the sponsors for their contribution to this noble cause. Their generosity has lit up hundreds of lives and touched many more. He appreciated their contribution which has gone a long way in making Anand Mela 2.0 successful. The chief guest Honourable Minister of Education Dr. Premsai Tekam applauded the organizer’s efforts for promoting education for all.

Education is a priority for the government and when youngsters join hands in promoting it, the mission gathers more strength. Round Table India National President Mr. Piyush Daga and Area 3 chairman Prateek Pitalia, AST Anumesh Srivastava, and Area vice chairman Vikaas Agrawal also came to support the event with other tablers from Bilaspur, Bhilai, and Raipur. They congratulated the efforts of RCRT 241 for an impeccable execution of an event of this scale.
