To provide employment opportunities to the local educated unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh State, the District Employment and Self-Employment Guidance Center Raipur is scheduled to organize a Mega Job Fair on May 25 at Mangal Bhawan Dharsiwa, Raipur. Applicants with qualification of minimum schooling of class 8th to postgraduate will be recruited for technical and non-technical posts through Mega Job Fair.
Deputy Director of the Employment Department AO Lari said that the registration of employers is being done by the District Employment Office Raipur. Bank-promoted Antyodaya Swarozgar Yojana and Adivasi Swarozgar Yojana are operated by the District Antyavasai Cooperative Development Society Maryadit Raipur under SC and ST categories. Under the Antyodaya Self-Employment Scheme, small businessmen are to be helped to improve their economic condition by providing loans to the educated unemployed belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes through banks.
Applicants can start any type of business like- bakery work, food preparation, chat shop, coaching classes and self-help group accounting, salon, tea canteen, snacks center, yoga education, and child care by applying for a loan under Antyodaya and Tribal schemes.
The executive officer of the District Antyavasayi Sahakari Vikas Samiti said that under this, a grant of 50 percent or a maximum of ten thousand rupees is payable, but the maximum limit of the loan amount is not binding. Eligible applicants can collect and submit the application form from the Office of the Collector Premises, District Antyavasai Sahakari Vikas Samiti Maryadit Raipur, Room No.-34. May 31 would be the last date for the applications. This job fair is really going to help many of the educated unemployed for their betterment.
