“Taj Raipur” – New Project by Indian Hotels Company (IHCL)

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announced its debut on 31 March 2023, in the state of Chhattisgarh with a Taj-branded hotel, a part of a brownfield project.

The hotel’s location is just a short distance from Raipur Airport on the Atal Path Expressway which touches the Naya Raipur, consisting of 152 luxury rooms featuring an all-day dinner, restaurant, bar & lobby. 

The hotel comprises 1300 sq.m of banqueting space, having a large conference hall, meeting rooms, a business center, and breakout rooms. Also offers a unique auditorium, introducing IHCL’s Jiva spa to the city with a swimming pool, gym, salon, and all.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, of IHCL, said, “This signing is in line with IHCL’s concept to be present in every state capital of the country. Chhattisgarh is one of the fastest-developing states in the Country. Raipur is a major commercial hub for the state as well as Central India. We are pleased to partner with Krish (Raipur) Hotels Pvt Ltd, a part of Vyapak Group, and bring the Taj brand to the city.” 

Founded in 2009, VYAPAK GROUP has various businesses varying from advertising, event management, promotions, agri processing, and trading, with a strong presence in central India. This hotel project will be VYAPAK’s first luxury hotel venture.
