@officialjasspabla Surapuri-the singing Singh, a resident of Tatiband, Raipur and his family owns a dhaba in Kumhari.
Since he was a child, Jass had an inclination towards music and would often passively learn the
art by being a part of the keerthans at the Gurudwara.
With a motive to expand their family business, in 2009, Jass started taking a course for Hotel
Management in Melbourne Australia. Due to lack of interest in Hotel Management, Jass soon
shifted his field to Business Management and started taking the course at the Australian Institute of Technical Training – AITT. All this while, he started doing part-time jobs to earn his pocket money and made around a total of 50 lacs in the 5 years.
Due to some unfortunate incidents, which took their family in a huge mess, he started working
at the Dhaba that they owned and he eventually got their lives settled again and then decided to
pursue his dreams of becoming a singer. It took a very long time for him to convince his family,
as they felt that there were a lot of Punjabi singers in the country.
Jass wrote his first song,
based on the story of a girl who comes to the city from the village and modernizes, and
recorded it in Chandigarh. The song titled “Chandigarh” was his first recorded solo song and video and it was highly appreciated.
Jass Pabla has spent an enormous 16 hours daily working while he was in Australia. His hard
work and dedication towards achieving his dreams inevitably paid off and he has since been
approached by many prominent names in the music industry with a recording offer.
