Mobile Veterinary Unit Started in Chhattisgarh; If Your Animal Is Sick, Then Call On This Number

A Gauvansh Mobile Veterinary Unit has been launched in Chhattisgarh to provide medical care for animals. Under this initiative, doctors will visit homes to treat animals. Prior to this, the Hat-Bazaar Clinic Scheme and the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme have already been initiated.

A Gauvansh Mobile Veterinary Unit has been launched in Chhattisgarh to provide medical care for animals. Under this initiative, doctors will visit homes to treat animals. Prior to this, the Hat-Bazaar Clinic Scheme and the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme have already been initiated. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, this mobile veterinary service has been established with the inauguration of 163 mobile veterinary units on August 20th.

Residents engaged in animal husbandry can contact the toll-free number 1962 for assistance.Across all four development regions in Raipur district, well-equipped mobile veterinary units have been launched. During the launch event, Dr. Lalit Kumar Sahu visited Kodwa village in the Tilda development region and treated cattle with the help of this unit. Additionally, in the Arang development region, a health check-up of animals was conducted using the mobile unit.This mobile veterinary unit provides the convenience of calling the unit to one’s home when animals are unwell. This service ensures that animals receive timely medical attention.Along with treatment, the units are equipped with private veterinarians and helpers. Each development region has been allocated one unit. The mobile medical unit will be available for animal treatment from 8 AM to 4 PM. Veterinarians from the mobile unit will conduct health check-ups on animals in villages and settlements. Furthermore, the units will also provide vaccinations and artificial insemination services, along with the provision of vaccines, liquid nitrogen gas, and semen for breeding purposes.
