Meet Mr. Prakash Garg @gargprakash⠀
The inspiring Artist and Interior Designer⠀
Born & brought up in Batauli and did his higher schooling from Sarguja. He did his graduation in B. Engineering in Information Technology from Bilaspur Government Engineering College.⠀
.⠀
Mr. Garg started creating Art and Designing work professionally since the second year of his college. After graduation he planned to do Interior Designing but couldn’t do it due to health issues. Even after not being able to pursue Interior Design, he managed to get some projects, and now he is at the stage where he is working in various cities,he is managing work of interior design nationally, in places like Bilaspur, Raipur, Batuali, Sambalpur (Orissa), Ahmedabad, etc.⠀
.⠀Mr. Garg was destined to open his art gallery in 2 years after graduation. He opened his first art gallery in Shankar Nagar Raipur, and then opened other galleries in Avanti Vihar and Sundar Nagar. His gallery attracted National and International visitors.⠀
.⠀
Recently Mr. Garg is working on Project Batauli, where he is providing unconventional art training to all the tribal or local kids.. He used to visit Batauli once a month for a week to educate those kids. He has managed to get the team of all types of artists and professionals for giving training to the kids.⠀
.⠀
During the lockdown an idea of making the Project Batauli, an ultimate goal of his life, struck his mind. He wrapped up all his belongings and shifted to Batauli, and is now devoting his time to the children of Batauli. He is still managing and working on various interior projects and as well as giving an appropriate time for his ‘project Batauli.’⠀ .⠀
He mostly stays in Batauli and in his free time you can see him in the mountains, exploring his art. As a middle class business person, his parents were concerned for the field he was choosing but he asked for two years and achieved an international award for his art, and that’s the reason his parents are in support of his work.⠀
