Students in Chhattisgarh will now be able to study their courses through TV. With the help of the Government of India, three TV channels are going to be started from July 1 under the name of PM e-Vidya. For this, complete preparations have been done by the State Council of Education, Research and Training (SCERT). All subjects from class 9th to class 12th will be telecast on these TV channels.
At present, broadcasting has been started from three channels. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will launch the channel on 29 July 2023 from Delhi. Currently, programs are broadcasting on Channel number 2068 for class 12th – Subjects aired on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday – Mathematics, Chemistry, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies, and Hindi, Subjects broadcast on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – Biology, Physics, Geography, History, Accountancy, English.
Channel number 2069 for class 11th – Subjects aired on Monday, Sunday, and Friday – Mathematics, Chemistry, Political Science, Economics, Business Studies, and Hindi. Channel number 2070 for classes 9th and 10th – Topics aired on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – Biology, Physics, Geography, History, Accountancy, and English. For class 9th, all subjects are on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and for class 10th all subjects are on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Board has announced the practical exam dates for the supplementary students of classes 10th and 12th. According to the information given by the board, the practical examination will be taken from July 6 to July 20. Regular students will give practical exams in their school itself, while private students will give practical exams for theory in designated exam centers.
