Reincarnating Raipur
In an interview with ‘Reincarnating Raipur’, Khushi Jal, a young and ambitious individual, shared her journey from her early school days to becoming a successful entrepreneur in the world of fluid art. Born and raised in Devendrangar, she completed her schooling till 10th grade at Shri Gujarati English Medium Higher Secondary School, Devendra Nagar. Later, for 11th and 12th grade, she shifted to Gyan Ganga Educational Academy and pursued her education there.
Khushi pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Maharaj Agrasen International College in Samta Colony, Raipur. Her interest in the world of art and creativity led her to venture into fluid art workshops and ultimately become an entrepreneur.
Khushi’s initiative was not only innovative but also responsive to emerging trends in the creative space. Diving into her entrepreneurial journey, Khushi fondly recalled, “It all began with my love for fluid art. Raipur, at that time, had a dearth of workshops that focused on this art form. Fueled by my passion and self-belief, I decided to venture into conducting fluid art workshops myself. This marked the inception of my creative and entrepreneurial journey.”
With humility, Khushi admitted, “I didn’t actively seek orders, but I did offer workshops and private sessions to those intrigued by the world of art. My workshops were geared towards teaching, sharing, and experiencing the joy of creating. Slowly but surely, my efforts started bearing fruit as my workshops began to generate income.”
Khushi attributes her father as an inspiration for her entrepreneurial journey. Seeing him work diligently for their family business even at the age of 50, she realized the importance of hard work and dedication. Khushi’s family, especially her sister, has been her constant support, enabling her to pursue her dreams.
When asked about advice for aspiring entrepreneurs, Khushi encourages a positive approach and dedicates time and effort to one’s passion. She stresses the significance of pursuing something until it’s accomplished and believes that surrounding oneself with like-minded individuals who share growth-oriented conversations is crucial.
Besides her thriving fluid art business, Khushi has embarked on another journey – launching her clothing brand. While she began with a focus on fluid art, she expanded her horizons into fashion and clothing design. Despite challenges and interruptions due to exams and family commitments, she is determined to bring her clothing brand, “BLITHE, to fruition.
Looking ahead, Khushi plans to pursue an MBA, specifically in entrepreneurship, to further enrich her business acumen. She acknowledges that her family’s unwavering support has been pivotal in her journey, and she hopes to inspire others to follow their passions, backed by a supportive circle.
