Rajeev Patel – From Small-Town Beginnings to Mumbai’s Celebrated Book Blogger

Meet Rajeev Patel Born in the small town of Bandhara, Maharashtra is now a renowned book reviewer in the city of dreams- Mumbai. In the year 1997, Mr.Rajeev shifted to Raipur and went to Yugantar Public School, Rajnandgoan. After completing his high school studies, he went to Indore to pursue CA. He couldn’t clear it, but didn’t lose faith in him and shifted to Mumbai in 2016 for learning digital marketing.

Born in the small town of Bandhara, Maharashtra is now a renowned book reviewer in the city of dreams- Mumbai. In the year 1997, Mr.Rajeev shifted to Raipur and went to Yugantar Public School, Rajnandgoan. After completing his high school studies, he went to Indore to pursue CA. He couldn’t clear it, but didn’t lose faith in him and shifted to Mumbai in 2016 for learning digital marketing. Since he was always so fond of reading books, he officially became a book blogger there. Big celebrities like Sushant Singh Rajput, Twinkle Khanna, Rajkumar Rao, Mahesh Bhatt invited him to their book launches and he has even written reviews for their books.

Mr. Patel is an avid-reader and personally owns 5,000-6,000 novels. He’s more into fiction and his favorite genre includes suspense and murder mystery novels. Apart from being a book-worm, he’s very much interested in sports and especially running. He’s a state-level player in Basketball and Cricket. He struck off his bucket list by completing 50 marathons in different cities like Mumbai, Pune, Raipur, Indore, etc.

His mantra in life is the same as Rancho from 3 Idiots, “Bacche kabil bano, kaamyabi jhak maar ke peeche aaegi.” He believes that we’ve got one life, and we should live it in the way we want to; do what makes you happy and don’t worry about being judged by society. Mr.Rajeev is an editor and author of many short stories as well and is halfway done with his first novel which is due to be launched in 2021.

Lastly, he encourages everyone to read at least 10-12 books in their lifetime as books have a world of their own and not only does it help you grow but helps you remain calm and composed as well.
