Meet Tavneet Sahni @tavneetkaursahni , a true Raipurian with unwavering courage.
She completed her schooling from RKC and holds a bachelor’s degree in Home Science from Nagpur. As a distinction holder she completed her dual masters in Project Management and Human Resource from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales.
While deciding on her career choice, she single handedly managed her trip to London, from IELTS to her visa to managing her finances. Being a meritorious student, she was offered a white collar job back in London which she let go off; a decision that she regretted initially.
Once back home, she decided to start her own business and ventured into the field of Fashion, something that held her interest since her college days. She initially wanted to start with platinum plated crockery; a concept unknown to the locals back then. She started Avenue in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since.
Her journey to the peak wasn’t a cakewalk and cost it’s fair share of troubles and setbacks like the most difficult one being when she was betrayed by her supplier a fortnight before her store’s inauguration. Fighting through her hardships, Tavneet opened her store, which was completely sold out the next day. She gave her store a fresh start and has since been a prominent yet a fresh face in the city’s business line.
Her first store gave her a base for her business and she now holds the reign over numerous stores including AND and INGLOT. It was a collective result of her courage and the support from her parents that led her to success. Her ever supporting parents have always let her be full-fledged with her capabilities & encouraged her to live a life of strength & self-sustenance.
