Special training has been allotted to the women farmers of the state to increase their income. This is the first time a training program based on women farmers was conducted at the state level at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University.

The women of the state are doing better in horticulture these days. In this training program, thirty women farmers of the state were included. Parmanand Pandey, CEO of international company Jivagro, and other members were involved in the program. West Africa, Miss Agriculture 2019, Margaret Afriye from Ghana State and Dr. Ashwini Falnikar from Toronto Canada, joined Post Doctoral Fellowships to chat with these women farmers. Women farmers and scientists are connected through social media groups. All these women will be able to talk directly about the problems faced in the field. By contacting the experts directly, they will tell them how to solve their issues.

These women cultivate other fruits and vegetables like tomatoes and papaya. Such methods of planting crops have also been told so that their income can increase. Three sessions were given to about 350 women from eight villages of Arang, Mahasamund, Gariaband, and Durg districts on health safety and product management, the latest crop information and entrepreneurship development, and financial independence.
