Mountaineer Yashi Jain Created History by Conquering Mount Everest

Yashi Jain of Raigarh has created history by hoisting the tricolor and Jain flag of India, on Mount Everest at 5:45 AM (Indian time) on May 17.

Mountaineer Yashi Jain of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh has conquered Mount Everest and registered her name in history. Yashi, the daughter of Jain society, has created history by hoisting the tricolor and Jain flag of India, on Mount Everest at 5:45 AM (Indian time) on May 17.

Let us tell you that in the 15-member team going to climb Mount Everest, climber Yashi Jain is the only one who belongs to Chhattisgarh. The campaign to defeat Mount Everest started on April 1 and lasted for 45 days. Mountaineer Yashi Jain met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel before going on the expedition. During this, the CM had given his best wishes to Yashi for conquering Mount Everest and also announced to give Rs 5 lakh as an incentive.

Yashi Jain is a resident of Raigarh, her father Akhilesh Jain works at Punjab National Bank. She has become the first girl from the Jain community of Chhattisgarh to conquer Mount Everest. Even before this, Yashi has hoisted the Jain flag on the highest peak of Africa and America. The Jain community of Chhattisgarh has given its best wishes to Yashi for this victory.

She climbed Mount Jogin at Uttarakhand in May 2018, and conquered Mount Elbrus in July 2019, the highest peak in Europe. In January 2020, she climbed Mount Island Peak in Nepal. After this, on 2 October 2022, she successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. After this, in February 2023, Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, was conquered at 6,961 meters.
