On March 25, 2023, the University of Texas (Dallas) awarded Naveen Jindal, the Chairman of Jindal Steel and power limited with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was given to him to acknowledge his exceptional accomplishments in industry, politics, and academia, making him the second person to receive this prestigious award from the University of Texas, Dallas, after Nobel laureate Aziz Sansar.
Mr Jindal has served as both the vice president and president of the student government and was awarded the Student Leader of the Year award. In 2010, he received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the university. To make the hard work and dedication of Mr Jindal appreciated, the School of Management was renamed to Jindal School of Management in 2011 by UT Dallas.
The Lifetime Achievement Award is a prestigious honour presented by the University of Texas (Dallas) to individuals who have demonstrated significant contributions in various fields over a distinguished career of at least 25 years.
