Jatin Jain: A photographer,born in MP, he spent his childhood in Korba

“Never do over-research over any decision, but try it once, you’ll fail just once, right? Don’t go for perfection in your first attempt.” Says or birthday boy Jatin Jain.

Born in Sagar, MP, he spent his childhood in Korba Chhattisgarh.

He did engineering in telecommunication from SNJB Nashik Maharashtra and afterward did a corporate job for three years.

He says that sometimes it happens when people choose something other than your qualification, and photography became his.

 

He was interested in photography for a long time. So he decided to switch his career. He did a diploma from IIP, Noida, and now he even works as a faculty in the institute.

He is more into commercial photography other than weddings. His favorites are architecture and interior shoots.

Since he was from a technical background, he saw photography as optical science. There he has to communicate visually. Being an engineer gave him a different perspective on his work.

He worked for Asian Paints’ tv commercial and Zomato and Swiggy when he was in Delhi.

With a company called Vsnapu, he has done over 19 thousand shootings for restaurants.

He feels proud of his work as now his parents are known by his name. His family always comes first for him. Dad is his inspiration for engineering. His inspirations for photography are Nick Brandt, who is a wildlife PG and activist, and Katerina Plotnikova who shows how animals and humans are connected somehow.

Jatin wishes to be one of the top 5 photographers in India. He wants to open an institute in CG.

He likes to play the guitar and do jamming with his friends whenever he meets them. His routine is to watch inspirational or motivational ads, first thing in the morning.

His achievement was when he was invited for mentoring Photography workshop at Architecture’s NASA Convention from zone 2 in 2017.

He was the youngest mentor present there at the age of 27.

One must be kind to everyone. Is a very emotional person and denies the stereotype that males never cry. He says that emotions are what makes inspires him for photography.
