Meet Ranjana Kshetrapal: A native of Shimla has been serving the nation since her childhood. She has performed Kathak dance in front of Late Indira Gandhi and was awarded with Rs.200 when she was just 15 and donated the amount to the National Defence Fund and got a standing ovation from the audience. She did her B.A. and M.A. in English literature and P.G. in French.

Meet Ranjana Kshetrapal:

A native of Shimla has been serving the nation since her childhood. She has performed Kathak dance in front of Late Indira Gandhi and was awarded with Rs.200 when she was just 15 and donated the amount to the National Defence Fund and got a standing ovation from the audience. She did her B.A. and M.A. in English literature and P.G. in French. She is a pass out from Punjab University. She has been in Raipur for the last 42 years. Her life started to change in 1986 when she joined the Lioness Club and then became a member of the Lion’s Club. She has been a member of Lion’s club for the past 23 years and has held almost all important posts.

With sheer hard work, she has been the President of the club thrice. Then, she held the post of District chairperson in different fields like diabetes, women self employment, Lion’s alert etc. Next she was the Zone Chairperson under the governorship of Trilok Chandra Baradia ji. In 2011, she became the regional Chairperson.

While she is a social bird, her husband was the total opposite. But at the same time he was very supportive and cooperative. After his dismissal in 2011, she became secluded from the society for a year. Reminiscing the incident, her husband attended the regional meet for the first time and felt very proud of her work and the next day he passed away.

She again started working in the year 2013. In 2017, she fought for the post of Vice Governor in which 89 clubs participated and fought against a male candidate. She won the elections from 102 votes and it was a record making win with the highest lead. She is the first lady Vice Governor of the Lion’s Club of the district. Since 2012, she has also been a visiting faculty in Mats University for French. She is Vice Governor 2 at present, she will be Vice Governor 1 next year and Governor in 2019 and 90 clubs will be under her.
