Vanshika Pritwani, a Certified Clinical Dietician, Nutritionist, and dedicated lifestyle fitness coach, graced us with her presence to share her inspiring journey and invaluable experiences. Hailing from the Narmadapuram of Madhya Pradesh, Vanshika is a proud mother of two, a son, and a daughter, residing within a close-knit joint family. Her remarkable odyssey into the realm of nutrition began during the lockdown, spurred by her personal quest for weight loss.

Her remarkable odyssey into the realm of nutrition began during the lockdown, spurred by her personal quest for weight loss.

“I embarked on the path of nutritional study during that time,” she reminisces, “I carried a few extra pounds, and although not excessive, it was a turning point. The desire to shed those pounds ignited my curiosity about nutrition and dietary principles. Thus, my journey began.” Vanshika, who previously pursued a BSc degree, went on to attain an MSc (DFSM) from IGNOU, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to this new academic pursuit a decade after her marriage. Presently, she collaborates part-time as a dietitian alongside the esteemed Dr. Munmun Agrawal.

Vanshika firmly advocates for women’s independence, affirming, “Independence is a cornerstone for women. It’s about standing strong, not relying solely on others, and forging an identity. My message to fellow women is to craft their own futures, to be self-reliant, and nurture their careers. With unwavering passion, women can ascend unparalleled heights.”

When queried about her time management finesse and the delicate equilibrium between her personal and professional roles, she elaborates, “Functioning as a dietitian, I effectively manage both in-person and remote work from the comfort of home. However, this doesn’t absolve me from my household responsibilities. I continue to fulfill my duties as a dedicated homemaker and mother, a role I embrace around the clock. The art lies in harmoniously integrating my profession and personal life.”

Following the culmination of her nutrition studies, Vanshika ventured into her professional domain. Her initial clientele was modest, yet over time, she flourished and currently supports a clientele of 12 to 15 individuals. Moreover, she spearheads walkathon programs that have resonated strongly with participants. “These walkathons have not only brought people together but also fueled their passion for fitness. The culmination of two successful programs has paved the way for the third, commencing later this month,” she reveals. During the lockdown, Vanshika orchestrated a transformative weight loss initiative, imparting dietary and workout regimens via virtual Zoom sessions, engaging around 30 to 32 participants.

When prompted about her wellspring of inspiration, she humbly discloses, “My own transformation fuels my inspiration. Witnessing my journey from desiring weight loss to achieving it reinforces my belief. Guided by motivation and mentorship, I realized the transformative power of proper diet and lifestyle, which can catapult one towards fitness goals.”

Unveiling the pathway to health goals, Vanshika imparts, “A multitude grapple with lifestyle disorders – diabetes, cholesterol, and obesity loom large. Common among women are PCOD and PCOS. A healthful lifestyle is the elixir to these concerns. Empowerment rests in your hands, your kitchen a haven for wellness. A repository of nutritious fare is pivotal; coupled with 3 liters of water daily, 7 to 8 hours of restful sleep, and protein-rich sustenance.”

She continues, “Enriching this framework is a one-hour workout, encompassing walking, yoga, or any chosen activity woven into your daily rhythm. If a dedicated workout seems elusive, embark on a 20-minute post-meal stroll, a step towards vitality.”

Inquiring about her accolades, Vanshika reflects, “Foremost, my health and fitness journey stand as triumphs. Achieving and maintaining weight and vitality, even at the cusp of turning 38, resonates as a personal achievement. Additionally, guiding clients to their wellness zenith bestows a sense of fulfillment. The accolades received and the invaluable gift of a disease-free family are cherished milestones.”
