Born and brought up in Raipur, Priyanka Bissa has always been into the arts. She did her degree in that field too.
Her inclination towards arts started when she was just 2. She won her very first award for her dancing talent.
She has also been awarded by the former President of India late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for her drawing when she was 6.
Dancing
Influenced by her mother, she learned Rajasthani folk dance & Kathak. Along with that, she also learned Assamese folk dance Bihu & Chhattisgarhi folk dance Raut Nacha.
Priyanka participated in almost every cultural, literary & art competition organized in the state and never missed making it to the winners’ list.
Priyanka started her journey when she was in her 10th standard. She would collect books gone out of the syllabus and gift them to the underprivileged kids.
Artist
Later her firm commitment fueled it to such an extent that she started to call upon slum-dwelling kids at her home for taking classes on the rooftop along with gifting books & other stationery items.
Priyanka has also won the national award at the 1st Mega Youth Parliament for her pivotal advice to the parliament of India. Which includes installing sanitary pads dispenser machines.
Public Welfare
She goes on to conduct campaigns for public welfare regularly such as sanitation & personal hygiene drive for girls and plant adoption campaign, which she supervised & oversaw.
Priyanka has also given blood test cards to over 11500 registered individuals.
Priyanka is all zealous with the moral support from her father, and right now, she is pursuing a Ph.D.
