The Chhattisgarh government announced the film policy under which there will be a provision to give subsidies for shooting any film or web series in Chhattisgarh. The local artists will also be given a chance. After this, the shooting phase of many web series and films started. The web series Anarchy has shot six months ago. Filming was done in many places. Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary, and Gaurav Dwivedi, Advisor to Chhattisgarh Government gave a clap shot for the shooting of the second phase.
The film is directed by Tariq Khan. The film also stars Tigmanshu Dhulia, who is a director as well and has produced several films. Apart from these, Bollywood’s famous actors Piyush Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, and Anita Hansanandani, who has played the lead role of an actress in many films, also make special appearances.
Shooting is being done at Chhattisgarh Club in the capital. After this, the location is being decided for shooting in Rajnandgaon, Kawardha, and Bastar as well. The shooting phase will go on for about a month.
50 artists of Chhattisgarh got work
Director Tariq Khan says that apart from the Mumbai team, more than 50 artists, technicians, and junior artists from Chhattisgarh are working on the shooting. Some actors are also playing lead roles. Capital resident Sohail Shetty is also working in a series for the first time. He is in the role of villain Ashok Gujjar. Apart from these, the work of casting and line producer has been given to Kaushal Sharma and Hemant Yadav of the Make for Not Good Foundation.
1980’s Lucknow to be shown in Raipur in web-series Anarchy
Earlier, regarding the shooting that took place in March this year, Gaurav Dwivedi had said that the Lucknow of 1980 will be shown in Raipur in this web series. The web series was shot for about 50 days in Raipur and surrounding areas. He had said that with the implementation of the new film policy, Bollywood actors and directors are getting better locations and local technicians for shooting in Chhattisgarh.
