Meet Rachana Nitesh

Rachana Nitesh was born and brought up in Bilaspur. She did graduations in couple of fields, one in Commerce and another one in Journalism. Right now she is working in IBC 24.

After B.com she wanted to do an MBA and went to Delhi to prepare for CAT. With the MBA coachings she thought of doing Journalism courses as well, and while doing the course she started gaining more interest in that course and went for that and then did Masters as well.

While pursuing Masters in Journalism, she got to know that the Akashwani is hiring and she went there and got selected. After Akashwani she even worked in 94.3 MY FM and then to Radio Rangeela. She worked in Radio for over 9 years. She was the first voice of the first private radio in Chhattisgarh which was my FM 94.3.

She is the first one in her family who is working and she used to feel proud when people used to admire her for her work. She says, “If you have the knowledge and passion to do work, people will definitely admire you.”

She is so down to earth and has a fun-loving personality. She tries to help everyone around her.

She is discovering her hobbies now, and she has started learning cooking. Everyone in her family is supporting her and has always supported her. Her father in law also supported her a lot, to begin her career again in this field and encouraged her to follow her dreams, post marriage.

Apart from her professional life, she also loves playing sports and has also played many sports while working on the radio. She has won various awards in hockey from the ex-Chief Minister, Dr. Raman Singh.

She considers her mom and her husband as her inspiration. Her mom is always supportive of all her decisions. When she returns home tired after working late in the office, her husband often helps her by preparing dinner for her and helping her with chores.

She is blessed with the amazing family and the beautiful journey. Even her mother in law surprised her by preparing sweets for her.
Mrs. Rachana wishes to spread a smile and she follows the idea of making one person smile each day.
