Meet Mr. Rj Namit

Born in Durg, Namit is a RJ, host, anchor and voice over artist. Currently, he works as one of the news reader’s and Chhattisgarhi translator in Aakash Vaani with the All India Radio.

He’s been working in the entertainment and events industry for the past eight years now. He’s more into youth events and parties and has been a host in many corporate events and weddings not just in Raipur but also, in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Goa etc. Earlier, he was part of youth programs with Air India and few shows in DoorDarshan.

Namit had been a meticulous student in school and college, and before entering show business, he was an IAS aspirant. He took part in a lot of dramas, plays and theatre acts. When he first graduated from college, he worked with MY FM alongside RJ Raghav. After that, his prime focus was on live events. Namit has hosted a lot of celebrity events and was the lead anchor in almost all big festivals held around Chhattisgarh, some of them being Raipur Mahostav, Raipur International Film Festival and Chhattisgarh Tribal Fest.

His biggest inspiration has been bollywood movies and the line which really has a big impact on his life was, “you’re the hero of your play”. Since he has always had a jolly and friendly nature, he tends to connect with his audience in absolutely no time. He believes in making touch and connection with as many people as possible, and when his audience is happy, you can find him on cloud nine.

He feels his biggest achievement is not just a trophy or award, but the fact that people consider him as their family. The closeness and the bond is what is the real reward for him and being remembered for his work is all he expects. RJ Namit is the same charming and comic person off stage as he’s on stage and that’s what we adore about him!
