Meet Mr. Anand Singhania, the torch bearer of the state’s urbanisation.

Mr. Ananad did his Civil Engineering from Raipur and into the 3rd year, he realised that he was particularly interested in the Real Estate industry. He had made up his mind to pursue his dream in Real Estate. Due to circumstances he joined his family business, Maruti Automobiles for 18 months. The time spent in the family business only gave him extra time to come up with ideas and innovations for his actual business plan.
In 1997 he finally made up his mind to quit family business and get into Real Estate. He started the company with just three people, Mr. Singhania, supervisor and an accountant. His family was supportive and even his dad gave him the first piece of land to work on, a 2 acres land for his first construction project.

Mr. Singhania came up with a small colony of 11 houses at a very reasonable price on that land. Then in the next 3-4 years, He finished the construction of another 100 houses. By the year 2007, he had finished off over 5 housing projects. But, then he wanted to do something for Raipur.

He always had an idea of Magneto, he used to travel to big cities and would come back longing to give Raipur a similar urban culture. Finally, this idea became the foundation for an International standard mall. The plan was sailing smoothly up until 2008 when global recession hit, that year proved to be the toughest time for him when people withdrew their shop bookings and the whole surrounding sentiment towards the mall became negative. But, his strong willpower decided to work out in any way and he came up with a 5-star hotel (Hyatt), a 3-star office (Offizo) and the Mall, a whole kit and caboodle of everything posh. The new plan kicked off from 2010.

After the landmark project, he handed over the responsibility to his relative and acted as an advisor.
