@tjbhanu , a small town girl making a big hit.
She is one of the most prominent faces in the country’s modelling scene. Hailing from Raipur she finished her schooling from Dani Girls Higher Secondary School. After her graduation she went on to pursue her post graduation from Kushabhau Thakre University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Raipur.

Hoping for a change in her life, she decided to move to Mumbai as she had been working since she was 16. With no future plans whatsoever, TJ kept on giving auditions for ad films and got a chance to appear in a commercial, during the shoot of which she was approached by a director who advised her to compete for Femina Miss India.

TJ believes in living the way the life itself turns out, and never sets any future plans. The artistic instinct that she holds stems from her father who has been a theatre artist. She has since been on the ramp numerous times and has walked for almost all the major designers of the country and Manish Malhotra is one of them. She was a part of the Saree Campaign for MoMA The Museum of Modern Art, which depicts 100 different ways in which a saree can be draped and feels that it is one of the biggest honours to have her picture at the MoMA.TJ Bhanu

TJ Bhanu had a debut as an actress with a web series ‘The Forgotten Army’ on Amazon Prime Video India, directed by the veteran director Kabir Khan. She also plans to get her PhD in Hindi Literature and Indian Cinema.

She states that life is not something that one plans. It unfolds with its own peculiar course and one should always strive to better the self for sustaining through whatsoever the life brings on.
