Toppers of class 10th and 12th of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education session 2023 state are in a joyous mood nowadays. Helicopter joy rides have started this year for the meritorious students in Chhattisgarh, as per the promise made by Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel during their exams.
The toppers of class 10th and 12th enjoyed the helicopter joy ride at Police Ground, Raipur. It was a thrilling experience for all of them and of course, the students were excited for it. As many as 89 students who made it to the merit list in the Class X and XII annual board exams for the year 2023, all enjoyed a joy ride at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur. Class 12th student Suksam, belonging to the particularly backward Birhor tribe of Korba district, shared that this initiative of the Chief Minister is amazing. This will surely encourage people coming from more backward communities like us to appear on the merit list. Priya Rohra, class 12th student of Vijay English Medium School, Manendragarh thanked the Chief Minister for the helicopter joyride. She said coming from a small town and sitting here in a helicopter is no less than a dream. In the annual examination of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education for the year 2023, 49 students in class 10th and 30 students in class 12th have secured a place on the merit list. Similarly, a total of 10 students, including five from class 10th and five from class 12th, topped in their respective categories from backward tribes.
In the year 2022, 125 meritorious students ranked on the merit list were given a joy ride in a helicopter as promised by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam presided over the program. School Education Secretary Dr. S. Bharathidasan, Principal Secretary Education Alok Shukla, Secretary Board of Secondary Education VK Goyal, Raipur District Education Officer RL Thakur, and other officials were present on the occasion.
