The 6th Vande Bharat Express

VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS

 

The sixth Vande Bharat Express connecting Bilaspur (Chattisgarh) to Nagpur (Maharashtra) has begun on 11 December. It will take in a total of five and a half hours to complete one round of its organized path.

 

 

The train will cover a distance of approximately 400km in around five and a half hours. The passengers can catch this luxurious train from Raipur, Gondia, and Durg. The semi-high-speed train is operated by the South East Central Railways (SECR).

 

The Bilaspur-Nagpur Vande Bharat will run 6 days a week. The train will depart from Bilaspur Junction at 6.45 am and will reach Nagpur Junction at 12.30 pm. The time of the return of this train will be from Nagpur at 2 pm to Bilaspur at 7.35 pm.

The maximum speed of the train is 160kmph and it consists of an intelligent braking system that smartly regulates acceleration and deceleration, the Vande Bharat Express is the first of its kind in India. For providing service to the travelers the train has heat ventilation and air-conditioning control through a higher efficiency compressor, with an Ultra Violet (UV) lamp for a germ-free supply of air.

Each coach has its own automatic doors and a GPS-based audio-visual passenger information system. Travellers will also be benefited from luxury end comfortable seats along with high-speed wi-fi hotspots
