Distinguished Felicitation To Retiring Officers At BSP

The BSP Officers Association orchestrated a distinguished felicitation ceremony to honor retiring officers in March for their long-standing dedication and remarkable contributions on March 24. Noteworthy figures such as Amalendra Kumar Pandey, Suryakant Fating, and others were celebrated, receiving saplings and cheques alongside their spouses. Retiring officers reflected on their memorable service moments, urging continued proactive measures from the Association. SEFI Chairman and OA President Narendra Kumar Banchhor commended the retirees’ invaluable roles in BSP’s 11 Prime Minister’s Trophy victories. New officers, including Ajay Kumar and Ashish Kumar Chaudhary, were warmly welcomed, receiving informative introductions to OA activities and personalized diaries. Gratitude was expressed by General Secretary Parwinder Singh.
Ex-Servicemen Celebrate Holi With Mentally Challenged Patients

In a heartwarming celebration of Holi, the Kondagaon All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council painted smiles on the faces of mentally ill patients at the Shanti Foundation Rehabilitation Center on March 25. Former army soldiers dedicated their entire day to spreading joy, applying colorful gulal, and sharing sweets, wishing for the patients’ speedy recovery. Extending warm wishes to all, the Council expressed hopes for happiness, prosperity, and harmony in the lives of all citizens. Present at the event were esteemed figures including Patron Havildar Subrata Saha, District President Nayak Suraj Kumar Yadav, Secretary Nayak Umesh Sahu, and Shanti Foundation President Yatindra Chhotu Salam, alongside the grateful patients of the Rehabilitation Center.

Kabirdham’s educator Vidhi Tiwari and Surajpur’s lecturer Nisha Singh showcased brilliance at a national seminar in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, under the Namo Matrubhumi Mission Sharadam. Tiwari’s groundbreaking research on brain activation and Singh’s scholarly contribution earned them recognition among 30 selected papers nationwide. Their presentations garnered praise from luminaries including Professors Bharat Bhai Joshi, Rajiv Ratan Sharma, and Sharda Sinha, along with scholars Deepti and Divya Sharma. Both educators’ achievements underscored their commitment to advancing knowledge and excellence in education, marking a proud moment for Chhattisgarh’s educational landscape.

Under the directive of Collector and District Election Officer Abhijeet Singh, Bargari village in Charama block witnessed a voter awareness program on March 24, guided by District Panchayat CEO and Sweep Nodal Officer Sumit Agarwal. The initiative aimed to enlighten MNREGA workers about the significance of exercising their voting rights. As part of the event held under Sweep, the Janpad Panchayat CEO administered an oath, urging residents to participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections actively. A Simplified Online Process For Hassle-free Payments Of Property Tax
Bhilai Municipal Corporation entrusts tax collection to Shri Publication, unveiling a simplified online process for hassle-free payments from home. Commissioner Devesh Kumar Dhruv’s directive ensures the website operates in Hindi and English, with enhanced security features including OTP verification for property tax inquiries. March 31 marks the tax deadline, after which an 18% surcharge and a fine of ₹1000 will be imposed. To pay online, citizens visit, enter their registered mobile number for OTP verification, and proceed with secure payment options like credit, debit, net banking, or UPI. This initiative aligns with Bhilai Corporation’s commitment to efficient governance and citizen convenience.
