Bastar’s health services were displayed at India’s stall in a two-day global conference on ‘Human Resources for Health. It was organized by the World Health Organization at its headquarters in Geneva.

 

Health services in Bastar gets displayed at Geneva conference

Better work is being done in the health services sector of Chhattisgarh. This thing has now reached the headquarters of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva. Bastar’s health services were displayed at India’s stall in a two-day global conference. It was organized by the World Health Organization on the 6th and 7th of December. The topic of the conference was ‘Human Resources for Health.

The Vitamins of the Health and Wellness Center were shown at the international conference held in Geneva, in India’s stall, how better health facilities are being provided in Bastar with limited human resources. A special place was given to the health worker and officer providing health services in Bastar at the stall. Life-size cutouts of Community Health Officer Anju Khare of Tudparas Health and Wellness Center in Dantewada district and Mitanin Shanti Sethia of Chitalanka were placed there. India was represented at the conference by Dr. Roderico Offrin.

Health services of Bastar zone were displayed In Chhattisgarh, it was shown about the health services being provided by the government in the remote zone of Bastar. A documentary on the Mukhyamantri Haat-Bazar Clinic scheme produced by the World Health Organization was also screened at the conference. The health services of Chhattisgarh have got the distinction of representing the country at the global conference.
